Looking for "Big photo collection managing software"

I do have big photo collection. Better say - huge collection. I have gathered most of my photographs to new external HDD and there are 45 310 photos - 89 605 872 216 bytes. And they are not really organized. And I would like to change it.

I have few requirements for such software :
1. Tagging

• Unlimited tag tree (so not only 2 levels such as People->Family but allowing People->Family->Mother for example)
• Tags in db outside photographies
• Easy to filter with tags

2. Albums or some kind of db on external medium with photographs. As far as I have photographs on external HDD and I will use it on at least 2 computers I would like to perform tasks on both of them without any other tasks (like "synchronizing" special db from one computer to other)
3. Ability to perform basic photo editing tasks - color corrections, red eye removal, ... I do not want to do that on separate application.

Nice to have features:
1. Facial recognition - creating tags from faces
2. Advanced photo editing tasks
3. Sharing data - creating online albums, ... 
4. Creating backups on DVDs

I have used Google to find such software and I'm going to try some of them. If you have some suggestion of some software - even if it will not fulfill all requirements - please write it to comments.

UI

Pluses
UI looks like some kind of photo professional application. Allows to group similar photos taken in short time to one group. Advanced photo editing functionalities.

Minuses
I have not found (yet) any good possibilities how to have photo database on external medium.
